Hi MAPPEROS,
The day finally arrives, yeah!
As you know, the nature of the Web is colaborative, like the MAPP. For that reason I am asking you to help us to document all that happen this night during MAPP.
Tagging helps to organize and share our online information with others. By attaching one or more keywords to a Flickr photograph, for example, we group it together with others that have the same tag. Hashtags serve a similar purpose on Twitter, the social micro-blogging service. The aim is to bring some order to Twitter users' published updates ("tweets") and make it easier to follow a topic of interest. And you don't necessarily have to be a Twitter user to get a benefit from hashtags.
1- If you have a blog (blogger, wordpress, etc), use one of the folllowing tag in your post: MAPP, Mission Arts and Performing Project, #MAPPmission
Also, remember to link the post to our blog http://mappmission.blogspot.com/
2- If you have pictures online, use the folllowing tag in your post: MAPP, Mission Arts & Performing Project, #MAPPmission
Also, you can join the MAPP group on Flickr:

3-If you have a twitter account, use the hashtag #MAPPmission in your tweets.
The twitter page is http://twitter.com/MAPPmission
4- You can use the hashtag #MAPPmission in your status, also.
Thank you very much for your participation!

About us...
The MISSION ARTS & PERFORMANCE PROJECT
The Mission Arts & Performance Project is a bi-monthly collaboration between visual artists, musicians, poets and performers. The MAPP puts art and performance on the street level by using alternative spaces such as private garages, basements, and studios. It’s a block party of the arts for inspiring in ourselves, and others, the desire for a creative existence, an ever widening experience of life.
By transforming garages and backyards into mini-galleries MAPP shows how ordinary spaces can be made extra-ordinary to bring people together to share in a diverse experience of fine art and performance. The garages, as they are unpretentious and open to the street, pose the possibility of exposing the arts to a lot of folks who might not ever enter a gallery or theater. This process helps take the art from the margins of our communities to where it may come to be more widely see and understood as a vibrant and vital force necessary to the health of our society. It is our hope that local residents and others attending the MAPP will be inspired to seek expression of their own experiences and feelings through creative means and join in sharing what they have discovered in the MAPP events to come.
